DWG or DXF?

Download the DWG if you use AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, BricsCAD, ZWCAD or DraftSight. It is saved as AutoCAD 2010, so any release from 2010 onwards opens it. Download the DXF for LibreCAD, QCAD, FreeCAD, SketchUp imports or any program that does not read DWG.

Units and scale

All blocks are drawn at 1:1 in millimetres and the files declare it. AutoCAD and most programs rescale the block when you insert it into a drawing in inches or metres.

Plan and elevation

Each file contains two blocks named after the item, ending in _PLAN and _ELEV. Both are placed in model space. Insert the file and keep the view you need, or use DesignCenter to pick one block. The guide How to insert a CAD block walks through it.
